KASARAGOD: Navakerala Sadas, the program in which the government is reaching out to the people, will start today from Manjeswaram constituency. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the Sadas at Paivalike, a northern border village in Kasaragod district at 3.30 pm. Minister K Rajan will preside. Thirteen Kannada and Tulu film stars will participate in the function. Three hundred dignitaries have been specially invited to the function. The Chief Minister and other ministers will arrive on a special bus prepared by KSRTC.
Sadas have been organized in all 140 assembly constituencies. The finale will be held on December 23 in the Vattiyoorkavu constituency. On the days of Navakerala Sadas, the Chief Minister and Ministers will meet with special invitees from each constituency at 9 am. Complaints will be accepted three hours before the inauguration of the assembly at the counters specially set up in the constituencies. Counters will function till all complaints are received. There will be separate counters for senior citizens, differently-abled and women.
Sadas will be held in the other four constituencies of Kasaragod district tomorrow. Sadas in Kasaragod constituency will be held in the municipal conference hall tomorrow morning. Following this it will be held in Uduma, Kanhangad and Thrikaripur constituencies.
