KASARAGOD: Students, youth, women, elders, and employees flocked to the Nava Kerala Sadas surprisingly making the event a huge success. The Chief Minister and 20 ministers arrived at the Nava Kerala Sadas at UDF strongholds Uduma, Kanhangad and Thrikaripur after passing through the BJP strongholds of Manjeswaram and Kasaragod. More than 25,000 people attended the event during Sunday’s program at various places.
The increased participation of women in all five reception centres of Kasaragod district which took place over two days boosted the spirits of LDF cadres. In all four constituencies of Kasaragod district the police officers worked tirelessly to control the traffic.
The first program of the second day was held at Nayanmarmoola school ground in Kasaragod constituency. The chief minister's bus arrived at the event while Minister K Rajan was speaking from the podium. After greeting the crowd, the Chief Minister took the mic to make a scathing attack on Congress and BJP. In his speech declaring solidarity with Palestine, he severely criticized the BJP and Congress but took special care to cajole League.
Tens of thousands were waiting to receive the Chief Minister when he arrived at Chattanchal in Uduma. Several counters were opened to receive complaints in each constituency. The Chief Minister assured that all complaints received will be investigated and action will be taken. Durga School Ground in Kanhangad and Kalikadav Stadium in Thrikaripur were also filled with people.
