Prize money for Christmas Bumper increased significantly, second-biggest lottery prize in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala lottery department has increased the prize money of the Christmas Bumper lottery. The amount of the first prize has been significantly increased to Rs 20 crore from last year's Rs 4 crore. The ticket price is Rs 400.

20 people will get Rs.1 crore each as second prize. Onam Bumper currently carries the biggest lottery prize in Kerala with a first prize of Rs 25 crore. Christmas Bumper tickets will go on sale from Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Pooja Bumper draw will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm. The first prize is Rs 12 crores. Four people will get the second prize of Rs 1 crore each. 20 lakhs each will be awarded to 10 people as the third prize.

The ticket price for a Pooja Bumper was Rs.300. Of the 40 lakh tickets printed, 39 lakh tickets have been sold till yesterday evening.
