Actor Asif Ali gets injured while shooting in Kochi; moved to private hospital

KOCHI: Malayalam actor Asif Ali sustained an injury while shooting for a film in Kochi. The accident happened on the sets of 'Tiki Taka' directed by Rohit, on Thursday. Asif suffered a knee injury while shooting a fight sequence. The actor then took treatment in Kochi’s private hospital. As per the report, the injuries are nothing concerning but the doctors have advised the actor to take rest for a few weeks before shooting again.

After 'Adventures of Omanakuttan' and 'Iblis', Asif Ali is teaming up again with Rohit VS for Tiki Taka. There are 12 action scenes in this film. Wamiqa Gabbi, who became popular in Kerala through Godha(2017) is the heroine. There is an ensemble cast that includes Harishree Ashokan, Lukman, Sanjana Nataraj, Santhosh Pratap and others.

Earlier on Thursday, Tamil actor Suriya suffered injuries while shooting for his awaited project 'Kanguva' .The incident made the director postpone the shooting immediately.
