GAZA: According to Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a temporary ceasefire in Gaza will come into effect from 7 am local time on Friday. The hostages will be handed over to Israel at 4 pm. 13 people will be released in the first batch. The list of hostages was handed over to Israel.
Qatar has demanded that Hamas and Israel fully comply with the terms of the agreement. Red Cross and Red Crescent organizations believe that more aid will be delivered to Gaza once the exchange of hostages is completed.
The release of hostages came after 48 days of conflict following the efforts led by Qatar and with the cooperation of Egypt and the USA.
Hamas and Israel will be releasing hostages in a 3:1 ratio. According to the agreement, Israel will release 150 hostages for 50 hostages freed by Hamas. Women and those below 18 years of age will be released first.
Hamas has taken 240 hostages. At the same time, 7200 Palestinians are in prisons in Israel. A third of this became Israel's prisoners after the war began. In the West Bank, 90 Palestinians have been arrested by Israel in the past 24 hours.
