KOTTAYAM: Lawyers used bad language against the Chief Judicial Magistrate in public in CJM court. The District Judge and the Chief Judicial Magistrate will submit a report to the High Court in this regard. Strict action is possible against the lawyers who protested by making bad remarks.

The protest was held at the Kottayam court complex. The protesters shouted slogans like 'Podi pulle CJM...' and 'CJM will be defeated in the flame that is like wildfire'. Action was taken against the lawyer MP Nawab who forged documents which led to the protest. Kottayam East Police had registered a case against the lawyer on the instructions of the Magistrate.

The case was that the Nawab produced fake documents including receipts of payment of tax to get bail for Rameshan, a resident of Manarkad, who was accused in a fraud case. In the complaint filed by the Bar Association to the District Magistrate, it is said that the act of making the lawyer an accused is not acceptable.
