MALAPPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday said there was no issue in PV Anvar inaugurating the roads that Rahul Gandhi was supposed to inaugurate in Nilambur. "Who decided that Rahul Gandhi would inaugurate? Such a matter was not noticed by the government.", CM Vijayan said at a press conference in Malappuram as part of the Navakerala Sadas.

He said that whenever any project is inaugurated in Kerala, the state government should know about it. The MLA inaugurated the construction of PMGSY roads of the central government. After the incident became controversial, the Chief Minister came out in support of Anwar.

The Chief Minister also criticized Governor Arif Mohammad Khan for not signing the bills. He said that there is a doubt whether the governor is taking the Supreme Court's suggestions seriously. But he added that he can't comment further on it as the matter is under the consideration of the court.

The Chief Minister congratulated the police and locals for finding Abigail Sara, who went missing from Puyapalli in Kollam. The Chief Minister commented that the biggest search in recent times was conducted the past day.
