"She'll hit 1 million if everyone tries": Anupama's YouTube channel sees sudden surge in subscriber count

KOLLAM: An investigating officer told the media that Anupama, who was arrested in the case of the kidnapping of a six-year-old girl in Oyoor, is an active presence on social media. She has good command of English and her Instagram reels and her videos impersonating Hollywood stars often went viral. ADGP Mr. Ajith Kumar said that Anupama received a YouTube income of around Rs 3.8 to 5 lakhs.

Now, three days after Anupama's arrest, the number of subscribers to the YouTube channel is surging. At the time of his arrest, she had 4.98 lakh subscribers. But today this has increased to 5.25 lakh. According to statistics, more than a quarter of a million people followed Anupama within days.

Most of the videos shared by Anupama are now getting more views along with comments. Meanwhile, some are also expressing their displeasure at the increase in the number of channel subscribers. "Earlier the subscriber count was 4.98 lakhs. Now it is 5.25 lakhs. She'll hit 1 million if everyone tries. Anupama will be rich when she gets out of jail", a person commented.

Last July, YouTube stopped paying Anupama for copyright infringement. After the income stopped, she became involved in the kidnapping plan prepared by her parents. Anupama is also followed by many people on Instagram. All the videos are in English. She joined B.Sc Computer Science but did not complete it. Instead, she wanted to do LLB. Meanwhile, her YouTube channel became popular.

There are 381 videos in the account. The last video was posted a month ago. Anupama also had a habit of adopting orphaned dogs. There were 15 dogs in the house. She also shared a video on social media asking help in starting a shelter for stray dogs.
