17-year-old girl molested by mother's women friends; Shocking case filed in Kerala

MUMBAI: In a shocking case, a Malayali nurse approached police with a complaint against three of her friends for sexually molesting her daughter almost two years ago. According to the report, the abuse took place exactly four times across different days. It was only in recent times that her daughter opened up about the horrific experience she endured just two years back. When the abuse took place, the teenager was just 17 years old. Oddly enough, two of the people who molested the teen were women, who were the victim's mother's friends.

The alleged crime took place in Kurla and now Mumbai police are handling the case.

According to the police: The woman who worked as a nurse in a private hospital in Mumbai, back in 2021, accommodated three of her friends from Kerala in her apartment. She had night duty during those times and thus her daughter had to be with the visiting friends. It is alleged that the two women lured the teenager and made her drink alcohol laced with some additives. Later she was sexually molested by the two and they also paved the way for one male friend to abuse the teenager. All the vulgar acts were filmed using mobile phones. The next day, the friends threatened the girl about killing her mother and showing her relatives nude pictures of her, if she dared to reveal the details.

Slowly, the teenager’s mother started noticing the sudden shift in her daughter's behaviour. After much deliberation, they both travelled to Kerala and consulted a psychologist. During this session, the girl revealed about the traumatic incident to the shrink. The psychologist immediately alerted the local police. The Kerala police after a preliminary investigation, forwarded the case to Mumbai police. The case is under investigation.
