KOLLAM: The Facebook page of Anupama, one of the accused in the case of abduction of a six-year-old girl in Oyoor, was found active yesterday. The videos that were previously posted on YouTube were uploaded on the Facebook page 'Anupama Padman' yesterday. Cyber experts said that someone may have hacked and misused her page.
The page started in May was changed to Anupama Padman on November 17. She has another Facebook page also. She last posted in August. Reports said Anupama had excellent technical knowledge in artificial intelligence. The income from her YouTube dropped when she was caught for creating fake videos. Anupama also had good knowledge in English. All her videos were in English.
Meantime, the district crime branch is investigating whether there are more accused in the case. As part of this, the statements of some who said they had seen the car in which the accused were traveling, were recorded yesterday. The surveillance camera visuals of the area where their statements were made was also collected. Padma Kumar, his wife Anitha Kumari and daughter Anupama, who were arrested from Chathannoor, will be obtained in custody tomorrow. The details of their financial liability and recent phone calls will be examined.
A search was conducted at Padma Kumar's house in Mampallikunnam and the farm house in Chirakkara. An employee of Padma Kumar's farm house received a death threat over the phone. The employee's husband was attacked on Monday night. Chathannoor police said both the incidents are not related to the kidnapping case.
