TEL AVIV: Israel has released footage of Palestinian men and children being made to sit half-naked on the roadside in Gaza. Pictures and videos from different parts of Gaza are circulating. Israel released these pictures Thursday evening. The posts are getting many responses now.

The international organization Red Cross responded to the posts. The organization responded that this action by Israel is unconscionable. "We strongly emphasize the importance of treating all those detained with humanity and dignity, in accordance with international humanitarian law," said Jessica Moussan, ICRC Media Relations Advisor, Middle East.

Distressing videos and pictures of half-naked men sitting on the streets of various cities in Gaza are circulating. The videos show helpless men sitting with their heads bowed. It is reported that a journalist was also seen in the circulating video. A man in the video has been identified. His brother Hani Almadhoun came to the scene and identified a shop owner as Mahmood. Diaa Al-Kahlout, a media worker for Al-Araby Al-Jadeed (The New Arab), and other citizens are seen sitting with bowed heads in the Beit Lahia market in northern Gaza. The army asks them to strip their clothes and takes them to a deserted area.

The head of the Palestine Liberation Organization in London described the incident as one of the darkest episodes in human history. Political activist Hanan Ashrawi responded that this is inhumane to the Palestinian people. Israeli media had reported the scenes in Jabalia city in Gaza.
