KOZHIKODE: The last video filmed by Shabna, who committed suicide after facing torture from in-laws, surfaced on Sunday. The footage of Shabna fighting with her husband's mother, uncle and sister has emerged. Shabna who filmed the video herself can be seen in tears near the end of the video. Just moments after she filmed this, Shabna went inside a room and hanged herself to death.

Earlier, the CCTV visuals from Shabna’s house gave shocking visuals of the victim being beaten by in-laws in a gruesome manner. During the fight, Shabna can be heard saying, “You are gangsters right, come and beat me”

In the video, the husband's uncle tells Shabna to not come in front of men to complain. “ Let my husband Habib come here and if he asks me to leave, then I will.” Shabna can be heard saying in the video. While she was saying this, another relative stood up to beat her which she thwarted.

“Is this a lawless land, we have court and police to look after things”, Shabna can be seen protesting.

In Shabna's death, the police will take her husband's mother and sister into custody. Her husband's uncle, Hanifa was produced in the court and remanded. Shabna was found hanging dead in her house last Monday. Relatives complain that dowry harassment is the cause of suicide.
