Army vehicle attacked in Rajouri; three soldiers martyred

SRINAGAR: Three Indian soldiers were killed by a terrorist attack on Thursday evening after the extremists fired at the army vehicle that was passing through the Thanamandi area of ​​Rajouri sector. Two army vehicles, conducting a search operation for hiding terrorists were attacked in Thursday's incident.

More troops have arrived in the region. Army's joint operation is in the Surankote general area and the Bafliaz area of ​​Poonch. Clash is continuing at the spot. It is reported that one terrorist has been injured in the encounter.

Last month, soldiers, including two captains, were killed after the army and special forces launched an anti-terror operation at Kalakote in Rajouri. Terrorist attacks have been frequent in the region for the past few months.
