THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government has decided to bestow good service entry to officers who have rendered good service in maintaining law and order in the state during Nava Kerala Sadas.
ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar, who is in charge of law and order, has instructed the SPs and DIGs to give good service entry to civil police officers who did exceptional work in maintaining law and order in the state even during the turbulent occurrences amidst the NKS event.
A good number of police officers were deputed for duty during the NKS event that covered nearly 40 days. The event also had its fair share of controversy with ruckus occurring in every major city, that was spearheaded by Youth Congress and Yuva Morcha workers. Recently, a court also directed the police officials to take strict action against CM’s gunman for his rogue conduct during the NKS event. It is amidst such a hullabaloo that the government has decided to give good service entry to certain police officers.
