Emotional Suriya turns inconsolable at Vijayakanth's memorial; watch video

Popular Tamil actor and DMDK politician Vijayakanth died last December in a private hospital in Chennai. Superstars including Vijay and Rajinikanth came to see the late actors' dead remains and shed tears, unlike their normal demeanour. Most of the film stars attended the funeral function, but actor Suriya who was caught in the hassles of shooting couldn't show up at the event.

And now, Suriya visited the memorial place of actor Vijayakanth to pay his last respects and turned inconsolable. The video of the same is already going viral across the internet space. While paying floral tributes to the late actor, Suriya shuddered into tears and later sat on the ground for a few minutes in silence. Later, Suriya talked with the family members of Vijayakanth and consoled them. Suriya was accompanied by his brother Karthi and father Sivakumar.

Vijayakanth is said to have helped Suirya build his career to success in the initial stage. Vijayakanth appeared in a cameo role in Suriya's early film Periyanna.
