Actress Swasika Vijay has finally responded to rumours about her purported relationship with actor Unni Mukundan. Swasika laughed off the news and said it was the most hilarious joke she heard in a recent while. Swasika’s response came during a promotional interview for the film Vivekanandan Viralaanu (2024).

“Every year in January, gossip about my marriage will find space in the media. During the Covid pandemic, some media wrote about Unni Mukandan dating me and it was ridiculous since we are not that close. We have acted together in movies but are not the best of friends. We seldom call each other. So it is still a mystery how the media got to create such a storyline. Do you know how many times the media conducted my marriage,” Swasika laughs.
