Destruction of public property: Minister Mohammed Riyas gets bail

MALAPPURAM: Minister PA Mohammed Riyas has been granted bail in the case of the destruction of public property. The warrant was issued against the minister in connection with the march organised by the DYFI in Malappuram in 2018. Following the case, the minister appeared in Malappuram Judicial Magistrate's Court today and got bail.

The case is that the windshield of a KSRTC bus was broken and a loss of Rs 13000 was incurred during the DYFI march. Mohammed Riyas is the seventh accused in the case. There are a total of ten accused in the case.
