Prime Minister inaugurates Rs 4000 crore projects in Kerala

KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 4000 crore in the state. Modi also inaugurated Ship Repair Center of Kochi Shipyard, 2nd Dry dock and Indian Oil Corporation's LPG imports terminal to the nation today. Modi said that today is a lucky day and he got a chance to participate in Kerala's development festival.

Governor Arif Muhammad Khan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan attended the function. The Chief Minister thanked the Prime Minister for coming in person to inaugurate the project. The Chief Minister added that the contribution of Made in Kerala to the Make in India project is not small.

‘The new projects will be milestones of development. Kochi is the largest dry dock yard in the country. In the last 10 years, there has been a huge boom in the shipping sector. Investments in the port sector increased due to central reform measures. Cargo ships no longer have to wait. Job opportunities are up. The new Dre Doc is proud of the nation. Dependence on foreign countries for ship maintenance will be avoided. The India-Gulf-Europe Economic Corridor will be a development boom.'- The Prime Minister stated.
