THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The central government will soon start services of special trains from Kerala to Ayodhya. The new move came after the BJP state leadership requested Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav. 24 special trains have been decided to operate from Kerala. Special trains will operate services in the name of 'Aastha' (Faith).
The services will start from Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad and Nagercoil from January 30. The ticket price is Rs 3300. The Center has announced to operate 66 Aastha trains across India for Ayodhya visit. The BJP national leadership has given instructions to bring all those who want to visit the Ram Temple to Ayodhya in the coming months.
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that the BJP will provide accommodation for those arriving in Ayodhya by Aastha train. The railways have informed that the train timings and more information will be announced within two days.
