PATNA: According to reports, Nitish Kumar will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of the JDU-BJP front government in Bihar in the coming days. The report came from ‘India Today’ with close part sources revealing the happenings. The report states that the oath will be taken on January 28.

Along with this, there are indications that BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi will be sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister. However, sources related to Nitish Kumar have not officially responded about the same.

'Closed doors can be opened, politics is a game of possibilities'. Sushil Kumar Modi said while commenting on the Spinaroonie politics in Bihar.

There were hints about Nitish Kumar’s return to NDA after his 'family politics' remarks against Bihar ally RJD and his rejection of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra invitation. This move will dampen the hopes of the 'INDIA' front in the Lok Sabha elections. It is known that Nitish and JD(U) have started talks with BJP. Rumours got rife after BJP leadership summoned state president Samrat Choudhary to Delhi on Thursday night.

At the same time, it was reported that the NDA has made a condition that Nitish should vacate the post of Chief Minister of Bihar to align back. Nitish meanwhile has shown stiff resistance to the offer as he intends to continue in the CM chair at least during the Lok Sabha elections.

As per latest report, it is learned that Nitish will continue as Chief Minister of Bihar while there will be two deputy CM’s in the state. BJP is more acquiescing to the demand as they hope to pull the strings with a presently vulnerable Nitish in the CM seat.

Meanwhile, the Congress leadership is monitoring the political situation in Bihar. The leadership believes that it will not be easy for Nitish Kumar to return to NDA. Congress is not battered over the move since they have a strong ally in RJD who have a monopoly over the minority section in Bihar.

Nitish Kumar was upset over the lack of clarity in the 'INDIA' Front's election preparations and the fact that he was not accepted as the prime ministerial candidate. Angry at Mamata and Arvind Kejriwal's suggestion that a Dalit leader should be considered as the prime ministerial candidate, Nitish had also rejected the post of convener.

As of now, Nitish has cancelled all of his public meetings till Sunday.
