Insulted nation and Prime Minister; Action against High Court staff drama, two suspended

KOCHI: Assistant Registrar TA Sudheesh and Court Keeper PM Sudheesh have been suspended pending investigation following a complaint lodged against a short play presented by High Court staff on Republic Day. The Vigilance Registrar will conduct the investigation.

The Bar association of India and the legal cell filed a complaint against the play titled "One Nation One Vision One India," presented by the High Court staff. The complaint alleges insult to the Prime Minister and the country during the performance. Specifically, it cites offensive use of the Prime Minister's words in the play.

The complaint was submitted to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice of the High Court, and the Union Law Minister.
