'Will show you Varkala beach'; private bus conductor arrested for molesting mentally challenged girl

KOLLAM: A private bus conductor was arrested in Kollam for molesting a mentally challenged woman. The police arrested Sajeer (31), a native of Madavoor near Varkala, for the incident that happened on Wednesday.

The girl, a student of BUDS special school used to daily travel on this private bus where the accused worked. It is reported that Sajeer molested the girl by pretending to be in love and taking her to Varkala Beach.

The family had to complain to the police after the girl failed to return home on time. However, allaying tension, the girl reached back home late and when enquired by family and teachers from BUDS school, the shocking molestation episode came to light.

Sajeer was produced in the court and remanded.
