Bar manager sustains serious injuries in firing at bar in Alathur; five in custody

PALAKKAD: A manager sustained serious injuries in a firing at a bar. The incident happened last night at a bar in Kavasseri, Alathur in Palakkad. The violent incident happened at the bar opened six months back.

A verbal dispute between the manager and a group of people who came to the bar ended in the firing. The verbal dispute was over the bad service of the bar and this ended in a fight. Reghunandan, the manager of the bar sustained serious injuries. The miscreants fired at him with an air pistol.

On being informed, the police reached the spot and took the five miscreants into custody. Four of them are from Kanjikode. Police said they are being interrogated. Reghunandan was shot in the back. Police said that he is undergoing treatment
