Multiple husbands; bedroom experiment for unborn baby to have multiple fathers

There are many differences between customs in each country or religion. Such differences are evident in marriage and married life. There are many men who have multiple wives. However, women with multiple husbands are relatively few.

Polyandry is a relationship situation where a woman lives with two or more husbands at the same time. There are some countries in the world where polyandry is legal.

There is polyandry among the people of Tibet which is in the northern parts of India and China. Brothers marry the same woman. Even physical relationships will be kept equal for everyone. They also believe that the child born through this will have more than one father.

Polyandry is mostly encouraged by economically backward families. They also see polyandry as a way to avoid sharing ancestral property.

Similar incidents have been reported among the Maasai people of Kenya. In August 2013, two men became husbands to the woman they love. This was big news back then. Polyandry is prevalent among the Paharis of the Jaunsar-Bawar region of North India. It is also reported in Kinnaur, Himachal.
