Family of woman invites husband home, murders him in case of dishonour killing

LUCKNOW: Four people including the woman’s father have been arrested in the case of murdering her husband in the name of dishonour killing. The shocking incident happened at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The dead is Bhulesh Kumar of Sambhal. The woman Preeti Yadav married Bhulesh Kumar five years back against the wishes of her family. He was an auto driver.

Her family invited Bhulesh home on the pretence of approving their marriage. The police said that they have not received any clear information about whether Kumar was accompanied by his wife. Bhulesh was returning home after consuming liquor with her family. The police have confirmed that Preeti's family had hired killers to murder him. Preeti's father pawned jewellery to pay the killers.

The body of the youth was recovered from Surajpur in Greater Noida on June 16. The police seized murder weapons, a towel, the car used and the pawned jewellery etc. The police told media that the woman's father, her uncle and two hired killers have been arrested and the search for the remaining two has been intensified.
