Gulzar and Ramabhadracharya honoured with Jnanpith

Jnanpith Award has been conferred upon Gulzar for his significant contributions to the Urdu language, while Ramabhadracharya has been honored for his literary works in Sanskrit. Gulzar, known for his roles as a Bollywood lyricist, screenwriter, director and playwright has received recognition for his achievements in Urdu language and literature.

Ramabhadracharya, one of the current four Jagadguru Ramanandacharyas of the Ramananda sect is a renowned scholar proficient in 22 languages. The prestigious award acknowledges their respective accomplishments in their fields.
