Mystery as woman staying with friend found dead in bathroom in Aluva

KOCHI: A woman, who was staying with her friend in Karoth in Binanipuram near Ernakulam's Aluva, was found dead in the bathroom. The deceased has been identified as Ramsiya, a resident of Ottapalam in Palakkad.

Ramsiya was staying with her friend, a native of Paravur. Information regarding the name and address of the woman was obtained from the identification card obtained during the inspection conducted by the police inside the house.

The police have registered a case of unnatural death in the mysterious death of Ramsiya and started investigation. The police investigation is focused on the friend who lived with her. But the preliminary investigation conducted by the police revealed that he was not at his house in Aluva for some time.

The woman's body was shifted to the hospital after the inquest was completed. The police said that a detailed investigation will be started in the case.
