No end to misery; Youth suffers chest pain in Attappady, carried to hospital on shoulders

PALAKKAD: There is no end to the misery of the people in Attappady. A youth was taken to the hospital on a cloth made stretcher and carried on shoulders. The adivasi youth who suffered a chest pain was carried to the hospital for one and a half kilometers by the people of the area on their shoulders. The incident happened at Agali in Palakkad.

The youth identified as Sathish of Puthoormela Bhoothayar Ooru suffered a chest pain last evening. He later collapsed on the ground. The people nearby carried him to his Ooru and after making a stretcher using a cloth, carried him for one and a half kilometers till the place where a vehicle facility was there, on their shoulders.

The doctors of Kottathara Tribal Hospital attending on him said that his condition is satisfactory. They said that he has no other health issues.
