‘Mistakes in campaign song deliberate’; IT cell creates problems for BJP, locks horns with Surendran 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The official faction is of the opinion that the mistakes in the padayatra, notice and campaign song led by BJP state president K Surendran are deliberate. The differences of opinion between Surendran and IT cell convener are the reason for it. As the political issues raised by Surendran were not taken up, there was a demand to change the IT cell convener.

The assessment of the leadership is that the IT cell is not taking up the necessary matters and are creating problems by taking up the matters not required. S Jaishankar is the convener of the IT cell. K Surendran lost his influence in the IT cell when K Subhash was made secretary of the organization. There is an allegation that even if Union Minister of State V Muraleedharan convenes a press meet, it is not being given in the official Facebook page.

There is also a complaint that the IT cell is not taking up any of K Surendran's political allegations. The leaders had demanded the removal of S Jaishankar as the IT cell was criticized for not making any constructive intervention. However, Subhash, the organization secretary is in control of the IT cell. Subhash is in a state of capturing the IT cell after forming a parallel group.
