KOTTAYAM: Actor Tovino Thomas' chef dies in collision of bikes. The accident happened on Ettumanoor Manarcad bypass. The dead is Vishnu Sivanandan (31) of Kallara Thekke Ettithara. Two seriously injured have been admitted to the hospital.
The accident happened near the Cheruvandoor KNB auditorium on the Pattithanam-Manarcad bypass Monday morning. Vishnu met with the accident while returning after visiting his relative in Peroor. The accident victims were taken to the hospital by the police and locals.
Mathews Roji and Justin Mathew of Peroor, who was on the other bike, are being treated at Kottayam Medical College Hospital with serious injuries. Vishnu was taken to a private hospital in Thellakam but his life could not be saved. Vishnu is the son of Raji and late Sivanandan, who was a parallel college teacher. Vishnu leaves behind his wife Athira and siblings Sreeja and Jyothi. He will be laid to rest at the premises of his house in Vechur at 4 pm today.
