Woman found hanging in bedroom of her husband's house

ARYANAD: A woman was found hanging in the bedroom of her husband's house. The deceased is Harishma (24), the wife of Aryanad Cherappally native Prasanth. The incident took place at around 11 am on Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, Prasanth went to the Medical Shop at Palayam for work. After this, Harishma entered the bedroom and closed the door. As Harishma did not open the door for a long time, the mother-in-law Baby became suspicious and informed the neighbours. Harishma was found hanging when her husband reached the house and broke the door open. Although she was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital, her life could not be saved. Prasanth and Harishma got married three years ago. The body has been shifted to the mortuary of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.

Harishma is the daughter of Malayinkeezhu native Jayakumar and Suja. She has a daughter: Pallavi Krishna (six months).
