Anil Antony to visit PC George, Central leadership deeply dissatisfied

KOTTAYAM: In a bid to secure support in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Anil Antony, BJP candidate for Pathanamthitta constituency, plans to personally visit PC George, who expressed discontent over not being considered for candidacy. Reports indicate Antony will visit George's residence in Poonjar today evening accompanied by BJP district leaders.

PC George previously voiced doubts about Antony's chances of winning in Pathanamthitta. He stated his willingness to support the party's chosen candidate but emphasized the need for Anil Antony to convince the electorate.

Central leadership appears dissatisfied with PC George's actions seeking clarification from the state unit. BDJS president also brought forward complaints against George to the central leadership. Central leaders also point out that there is a protest in Pathanamthitta which has not been raised anywhere in the country after the selection of candidates.
