Flashed at girl who was going home after tuition; youth arrested

KOLLAM: Police have arrested a youth who flashed at a minor girl in Kollam. The arrested person has been Chandanathoppu native Hareesh (30).

The accused first flashed at the girl on Tuesday evening when the girl and her friend were going to tuition class. As the girls reached Randamkutty, the accused approached them on the pretext of asking for directions and then flashed at them.

On the very next day, the accused approached the girls similarly when they reached Randamkutty while returning after tuition. Following this, the girls lodged a complaint with the Kilikolloor police station. The accused was later arrested by a team under the leadership of Kilikolloor Police Inspector Thomas. The team comprised SIs Vaisak, Nizamuddin, Santhosh and CPO Bindumol.
