Shama Mohamed shares ID on Facebook in response to K Sudhakaran

KANNUR: AICC spokesperson Shama Mohamed shared her ID on Facebook. Remarks made by KPCC president K Sudhakaran stating that 'Shama is a nobody', were being discussed. Shama shared this information, along with her picture, from the list of spokespersons on the official website of the Indian National Congress. The question raised on social media is whether the KPCC president does not know an AICC spokesperson.

Sudhakaran had previously criticized Shama's remarks that the Congress was not providing adequate representation to women in the list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, stating that Shama Mohamed holds no significance within the party.

The party was taken aback when Shama voiced criticism against the Congress leadership. She stated, "Rahul Gandhi always advocates for women, yet women were neglected in the Congress candidate list. If there were no reserved seats, even Ramya Haridas would have been overlooked. Women are not even allowed on stage during party events. Seats with a high likelihood of loss are always given to women. I could have been considered in Vadakara. Malabar also has minority communities. If Shafi is brought to Vadakara, there will be a challenge in Palakkad." These were Shama's words.
