Siddharathan's loss still lingers as Pookode Veterinary College reopens

siddharthan-death-case

POOKODE: Pookode Veterinary College reopened for the first time after the mysterious death of JS Siddharthan, a second-year BVSC student. A PTA meeting held between college officials and parents decided to open the college at the earliest. By Sunday evening, most students from distant places reached the college hostel. The students have been instructed to cooperate as much as possible with the investigation related to Siddharthan's death.

Gloominess encapsulated the classroom where Siddharthan studied while his classmates held hope that Siddharthan would continue to be with him through his paintings and photos.

The installation of surveillance cameras in the hostel has been completed and more teachers have been given charge of the hostel. There is also a plan to introduce more security measures in the college.

On February 18, Siddharthan was found hanging in the lavatory of the hostel.
