Odisha assembly elections to be held in two phases; Andhra Pradesh goes to polls on May 13

NEW DELHI: Assembly election dates in four states have been announced. Assembly elections are scheduled in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. By-elections are to be held in 26 states.

Assembly elections will take place in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim on April 19, in Andhra Pradesh on May 13 and in Odisha in two phases, on May 13 and 20. Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar urged everyone to vote, stating that the Election Commission is fully prepared. He introduced the new commissioners, Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu.
