SULTAN BATHERI: AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal emphasized that the Congress' strength lies at the grassroots level and urged party workers to prepare for the upcoming local and assembly elections. He made these remarks while inaugurating the KPCC Executive Camp at a resort.

"Don't let people say that there is infighting in Congress. Congress should stand up for the common people, aiming for their welfare," Venugopal stated. He highlighted that the Lok Sabha elections were held in a fearful atmosphere but the Congress and its allies triumphed, overcoming significant challenges. "The Congress survived the fight against the Modi-Sangh Parivar forces because the common people stood with us," he added.

Activists should not be lazy: K Sudhakaran

In his presidential speech, KPCC President K. Sudhakaran MP stressed that the victory in the Lok Sabha elections should not lead to complacency among Congress workers. He reiterated that there is no room for discomfort within the party and that the focus should be on winning the panchayat and assembly elections. "Mission 2025 is being implemented effectively," Sudhakaran concluded.

AICC General Secretary Deepa Das Munshi, Ramesh Chennithala, Kodikunnil Suresh MP, Leader of the Opposition V D Satheesan, M M Hasan and Vishwanatha Perumal also addressed the gathering.
