Not any senior actor, not even VFX; Fans stunned after realising freakish 'chathan' from Bramayugam

In the final few moments of ‘Bramayugam’, megastar Mammootty’s latest mythical folklore film, a freaky figure appears on screen making many viewers skip heartbeats in anxiety. The nightmarish figure named ‘Chathan’ plays a pivotal role in the film. In this age of AI and other technical availability, many might have gone to the conclusion that the ‘Chathan’ figure was nothing but a ‘ghastly’ genius of the VFX team. Sorry, you got it wrong!

Most people were taken aback in awe when the news confirmed that it was indeed a schoolboy named Akash Chandran who played the eerie figure in the movie. Many started recognizing the schoolboy after the movie got streaming through OTT after a brilliant theatrical run.

The transformation shocked many but it would evoke little surprise among people familiar with the name Preetisheel Singh D'Souza. The doyen in character design who made a mark on various big productions in Bollywood was the one who brought out the freakish side of Akash Chandran.
