'A BJP Chief Minister will come to power in Kerala in 2029'; Pinarayi will have same fate as Kejriwal, says PC George

KOZHIKODE: BJP leader PC George on Friday said that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will have the same fate as Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Speaking to the media, Pinarayi's heartbeat might've risen following the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal.

"Kejriwal should've remembered while committing corruption. Should the ED kiss him instead of arresting him for not appearing for questioning despite receiving seven notices? He was arrested for committing corruption. That is why the Supreme Court did not interfere in the matter," PC George said.

PC George also asked Kejriwal to answer why changes were made in the excise policy. George also said that a BJP Chief Minister will come to power in Kerala in 2029. He alleged that the media persons are not ready to bring the good things done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the people.

George also lashed out at the LDF and UDF for demanding to shift the day of voting in Kerala from April 26 citing potential difficulties for Muslim voters.

"Soon after the date of the election was announced, many people started demanding to shift the date of voting from April 26 citing it is a Friday. Both LDF and UDF also supported this demand. Juma will be there only till half past twelve. Sunday is an auspicious day for Christians. However, no one would complain when elections are held on that day," he added.
