Amidst unprecedented fan fervour, actor Vijay set to bid adieu to Thiruvananthapuram

After living a few days of unprecedented fan-filled euphoria in Thiruvananthapuram, actor Vijay is all set to return to Chennai on Sunday. The climax of the movie 'GOAT' is scheduled to be filmed at Thiruvananthapuram airport on Sunday night. After finishing this sequence, Vijay will bid adieu to Thiruvananthapuram. The actor is currently shooting for Venkat Prabhu’s latest thriller movie titled ‘GOAT’.

In case the shooting gets delayed, the actor will extend his stay to Monday. The makers of the movie zeroed in on Thiruvananthapuram for shooting the climax portion and hoped for a 15-day shoot. However, the shooting was completed within just seven days.

Die-hard Vijay fans in the capital city were provided with an opportunity to watch the shoot last night at Kariyavattam Greenfield International Stadium. Green Field International Stadium is the main location for shooting. Prabhudeva, Prashanth, Ajmal, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, and Parvathy Nair are a few of the ensemble cast in the movie.

Telugu actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is the heroine. Meenakshi, currently in high demand in the movie industry will also appear alongside Dulquer Salmaan in Lucky Bhaskar. Apart from this ensemble cast, actress Trisha will do a cameo in the movie. This is the first time collaboration between Venkat Prabhu and Vijay. Director Venkat Prabhu rose to popular acclaim after his 2011 Ajith movie ‘Mankatha’ became a blockbuster across south India.
