Muslims are being made second-class citizens: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan

pinarayi-

MALAPPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Congress is making fun of the religious minorities of the country by not taking a strong stand against the Citizenship Amendment Act. He was inaugurating the constitutional protection rally organized by the CPM in Malappuram against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

RSS is making Muslims second-class citizens and BJP is implementing their agendas. The idea they put forward is that of Hitler and the method of organization is that of Mussolini. In the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi, he did not speak against the Citizenship Amendment Act even when he spoke about most of the country's issues. Rahul was abroad when the agitation was going on at the national level. Even when many left leaders were arrested for organizing agitation against CAA, the voices of Congress leaders were nowhere to be heard. Only Ariff responded in the Lok Sabha. Left members also responded in the Rajya Sabha. When the students of JNU protested over the Citizenship Amendment Act, the Sangh Parivar attacked them, and there too the Left came running.

KT Jalil MLA presided over the function. Minister V Abdurahiman, Senior Supreme Court Advocate PNV Dinesh, Adv Sebastian Paul, CPM Leader M Swaraj, Samasta Kerala Jamyatul Ulama Leader Salahuddin Faizi Vallapuzha, Vice President of Wisdom Islamic Organization Kunji Muhammad Parapoor, MES President Dr Fazal Ghafoor, Poet Alankode Leelakrishnan and others were present.
