KASARAGOD: Saeedah burst into tears just moments after Principal Sessions Court in Kasaragod pronounced the verdict in the Riyas Moulavi murder case that shocked Kasaragod back in 2017. On Saturday morning, Saeedah, wife of murdered Riyas Moulavi came to the court in high hopes of hearing a favourable judgment but was left speechless after the court acquitted all three RSS workers involved in the crime.

‘I don’t know what to say. I came here with high expectations. But now have nothing to say.’ Saeedah wiped her tears and moved away from the media ignoring further questions.

Action committee officials said they would appeal against the verdict after carefully studying the judgment.

Meanwhile, the defence lawyer said that justice has finally reached the three youngsters, who were 'incarcerated' for all these years even without bail.
