CHALAKUDY: NDA candidate Suresh Gopi, who is contesting in BJP’s highly hopeful Thrissur constituency has now reaffirmed his belief that BJP will script a thumping victory when the vote counting ends on June 4. Suresh Gopi said Kerala’s revival into glory days will be through the new Thrissur which will be replete with development.
“I once asked the people of Thrissur to gift me this land. But now with confidence, I am saying this: Thrissur will be taken this time.” Suresh Gopi also took a jibe at CM Pinarayi Vijayan with the usage of the word ‘captain’. Gopi reminisced about the disastrous end of ‘Captain Prabhakaran’ in Sri Lanka and said the same fate is in the offing for the Kerala CM, who is fondly called ‘captain’ by the left cadres.
On another note, Suresh Gopi through his Facebook Page wished all believers a ‘Happy Easter’.
