Sunita Kejriwal delivers first major political speech, reads out Arvind Kejriwal's six poll guarantees

NEW DELHI: Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, for the first time took the main podium at the huge rally organized by the INDIA alliance in Ram Leela Maidan on Sunday, to make a scathing attack at the central government for ED arresting the Delhi CM.

“Even while in jail, Arvind Kejriwal have thoughts only about the nation. INDIA alliance is not just a word but a feeling deep from the heart. Kejriwal is determined to end the tyrannical rule of PM Narendra Modi” Sunita said. She then asked the supporters whether they wanted Kejriwal to resign, to which the supporters blared back a firm 'No'.

Sunita also read out the six guarantees proposed by Arvind Kejriwal to the voters ahead of the elections, which include:

• No power cuts in the country
• Free electricity for poor sections
• Quality education and good schools
• Mohalla clinics in every village and multi-specialty hospitals
• Good MSP for farmers as per Swaminathan report
• Statehood for Delhi

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, NCP leader Sharad Pawar, CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and others also participated in the huge rally organized at Ram Leela Maidan.
