Teacher missing from capital city found dead in Arunachal along with couple from Kottayam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Three Malayalees were found dead in Itanagar. The dead are Naveen and Devi, couple hailing from Kottayam and Arya, a teacher who went missing from Thiruvananthapuram. The bodies of the three were found in a hotel in Itanagar. Arya went missing from Thiruvananthapuram on March 27.


Arya was a teacher in a private school in Thiruvananthapuram. She left home on March 27th without informing her family. When Arya could not be contacted on the phone, her relatives informed the police. The Vattiyoorkavu police had registered a case in the incident.


On investigation by police, it was understood that Arya's friend Devi and her husband Naveen had accompanied her. It was found that the three had gone to Guwahati by flight. Naveen and Devi left home saying that they are going for a pleasure trip. So, the relatives did not worry about them. However, when the missing case of Arya was investigated, came to know that the couple had also accompanied her.


It is heard that they examined on internet about life after death. Devi had previously worked in the private school in Thiruvananthapuram where Arya worked. Devi was a teacher of German language. They were thick friends. The Itanagar police informed the relatives and the Kerala police about their deaths this morning. The Itanagar police identified the people based on the documents found in the room of the dead.


It is reported that all three had inflicted injuries on their bodies. They died after bleeding profusely. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital.
