CPM worker who was injured while making bomb in Kannur dies; another person in critical condition

KANNUR: The CPM worker, who was injured in the Panoor bomb blast case, has died. The deceased has been identified as Panoor Kaivelikkal native Sherin. He died while undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. The condition of CPM worker Vineesh, who sustained a serious injury in the accident, remains critical.

The incident took place at around 1 am today. The explosion took place while the CPM workers were making country-made bombs on the terrace of a house. Sherin sustained serious injuries on his face and body, His hand was severed. According to reports, four people sustained injuries in the accident. It was the police that rushed the injured people to the hospital. Vineesh is the son of a local CPM leader.
