Graduates can become school teachers in the UAE; high salary, here is what you should do

DUBAI: Many people want to work abroad. However, they hesitate to go abroad because of doubts about getting a job according to their qualifications. However, there are many job opportunities in UAE for graduates. One such post is Private School Teacher Posts.

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has issued some guidelines showing what qualifications are required for private school teachers. Official sources said it was issued with an aim to ensure safety and progress in education in private schools.

The basic qualification required to get a job as a teacher is a degree in that subject. A post-graduation certificate should also be produced as required by the schools. Candidates must register with the Educator Permit System after receiving the initial appointment order. Also, they should be proficient in educational pedagogy, curriculum development and design, learning assessment, classroom management, educational technology, psychology, teaching practice etc.

CELTA, DELTA or TESOL must be obtained if you wish to teach English language. Those who want to teach English must score at least 7 in IELTS and those who teach other subjects using the English language must score at least 6. Moreover, teachers should also complete KHDA-approved courses like Child Protection and Safeguarding, Dealing with People of Determination, Diversity, Moral Education, Sustainability and Wellbeing.
