Youth dies after feeling discomfort while using slide in water park

LUCKNOW: A 25-year-old youth died after feeling discomfort while using the slide in the water park. The incident happened Sunday afternoon at Noida in Uttar Pradesh. The youth dead is Dhananjay Maheshwari of Adarsh Nagar in Delhi.

The youth along with four of his friends came to spend their holiday at the Entertainment City Water Park in Great India Place Mall. After changing clothes and storing all things in the lock room, the four went to use the slide. While playing on the slide one by one, Dhananjay suddenly felt discomfort. He then rested on the ground for a while but did not recover and was taken to the nearby Kailash Hospital. The mall authorities took him to the hospital in an ambulance. After the tests, the doctors confirmed him dead.

Meanwhile, Dhananjay’s parents also reached the hospital. The body has been sent for post-mortem. The police informed that the cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem. The police also stated that legal proceedings have been initiated in the incident. Dhananjay family had alleged that their son's death was due to negligence on the part of the mall authorities. Police officials informed that they will investigate this matter as well.
