PM Modi vows to restore Jammu and Kashmir statehood; Promises assembly elections soon

modi

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that the Center is committed to restoring the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir and that assembly elections will be held there soon. Modi made these remarks at the rally of sitting MP and Union Minister Jitendra Singh in the Udhampur constituency.

People of Jammu and Kashmir will have MLAs and Ministers. Elections are being held in Jammu and Kashmir after decades without the fear of terrorism and cross-border firing. Today, there is progress and confidence. Schools are no longer burning. AIIMS, IITs and IIMs are being established. Jammu and Kashmir has undergone significant changes in the past decade, including improvements in roads, electricity, water supply, travel and migration. The number of tourists and pilgrims has reached a record high. The most significant change is the shift in the mindset of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Food is also being used as a propaganda tool. Some leaders of the 'India' community have a Mughal-era mindset. It was mentioned that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav ate fish during Navratri, and Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav cooked mutton. They should go ahead and cook mutton and share its video. People can eat anything they want, but their motive seems different. It's akin to Mughals attacking the king and destroying temples. Whom are they trying to please by disregarding people's sentiments?

97% of ED cases are against officials and criminals. This is in response to the allegation that since 2014, 95% of ED cases have been against opposition leaders.

Those who hold the sword of investigative agencies over their heads accuse the ED of only investigating political corruption. It is those who benefit from corruption who cry foul and mislead the people. Targeting the Nehru family, Modi said that while the BJP is strengthening the country, the Congress has focused solely on developing one family.
