Accident was deliberate, says Chintha Jerome; case against KSU, youth congress activists

KOLLAM: The police have registered a case in the incident of CPM state committee member Chintha Jerome meeting with an accident. The Kollam East Police filed a case against KSU district vice president Faizal and youth congress activist Sayaddali.

Her complaint is that Sayaddali hit her deliberately after reversing the car and Faizal hurled abuses at her. The case was registered after slapping charges like murder attempt, conspiracy and for hurling abuses.

The two denied her allegations. They said the car hit her accidentally. She is under treatment in the hospital. The accident happened when she was returning after a channel debate at Thirumullavaram. A verbal dispute broke out between the Congress and CPM activists during the debate. The CPM alleged that the accident was deliberate.
